Prayers for Mike's wife and the family

On Aug 3rd Indiana and Illinois Beat the Heat will be at Night Of Fire at Muncie drag way. Then all of us will be at Cordova Aug. 23rd and 24th for the World Series. Then I will be at the YES program Aug. 30 in Indianapolis

I know that John and Brain are outstanding members. And in my eye Brain was employed by the Mishawaka City Police and Fire as a IT guy. Which I see as being on both departments. And as far as John goes he was one of the first members that I had the great pleasure of hanging out with. And I would back John all day long. I at no time meant to make it look like I did not want this class. I just wanted to make sure we were doing things by the law. Not sure what rules of order we go by. But I would thing that we should talk at next meeting about all of this.

I think that if the issue is member count we all need to do a better job of get the word out. I know there has to be a lot of police fire e.m.s people that never heard about use. I know that I myself did not know of this program on tell Brian Billingsley said something to me. If that is what it is then lets form a group to look into getting the word out.

I have not been a member for very long. but I can see the point of police and fire and e.m.s. we all have been held to high standard. Not saying others would not be good for use. But at the same time you never know. What would happen to the person that sponsors somebody and that person miss represents Beat the Heat. From what I have heard that it took along time to get NHRA to let use back in because of somebody that done just that. I think we need to be very careful of what we do . Remember there are always little eyes on use and is that not why we are Beat the Heat is for the kids.
